Our mission is to transition the world’s supply chain to regenerative agriculture by offering the most reliable standards and verification services. To date, our standards have been approved by the largest grocery chains in the world and we have been actively verifying large acres of farmland producing grains, beef, poultry, eggs, and cotton.

 

What You Will Do

We are searching for a farm origination and success manager to join our Verification and Certification business at Regenified. This role collaborates closely with standards & protocols, field verification, marketing and supply chain teams at Regenified. This role requires deep understanding in the downstream agriculture sector with significant experience working with farmers and ranchers. In this role, you will also be working in research, industry trend and development analysis to support the company's growth and our mission to transition the supply chain to regenerative. You are expected to hold daily meetings and calls with farmers, ranchers and prospect customers interested in verification and certification; to truly understand their desires and needs and work with them to discover and understand the value of Regenified’s verification and certification to their operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regenerative agriculture is expanding rapidly, you will use your experience and leading practices to develop and execute on effective business development and accounts expansion strategies to enable the availability of Regenified’s verification program and Certified Regenified products at scale through seamless engagement.
  • Be an internal point person and lead incoming requests for information and submissions for verification and certification, leading these incoming interests through seamless customer lifecycle experiences and build a book of business organically and exponentially.
  • Using your experience and best industry practices to enable and enhance customer experience supported by systems, tools and processes to enable successful onboarding of new customers with “what is in it for them” mentality and care.
  • Use your knowledge of Regenified’s business and our verification standards and protocols to clearly articulate and explain the value of our verification and certification program to create win-win-win for our customers.
  • Collect feedback from existing customers and others to improve and enhance our account customer and deal lifecycle management, ranging from outward-facing engagement to incoming engagements with our prospect, existing and future customers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, ranchers and downstream supply chain entities to raise awareness on Regenified’s verification protocols and ensure timely and thorough execution of tasks to meet Regenified’s protocols.
  • Represent Regenified on meetings with prospect customers to provide a transparent, accurate and comprehensive overview of Regenified’s verification and certification process and attend to their questions.
  • Be a great listener, our audience have personal and emotional connection with their land, farm, family and operation and it’s important that you understand their context to identify the best viable path for them to attain verification and certification and receive recognition and reward.
  • Key Performance Indicators help our business to learn, grow and evolve. You will work to establish, monitor and report on adequate KPIs to support meeting your department’s and the businesses’ Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to deliver the best value possible to our customers and meet our mission.

Who You Are:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales and building a book of business in the agricultural industry. You have a true hunter mentality and a strategic approach to finding opportunities to bring in new clients and develop and foster long-term partnerships. You have in-depth knowledge of agricultural practices, technologies, and market dynamics and a passion for sustainable agricultural practices.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Business Development role within the downstream agricultural industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economy, marketing, agriculture or related other related business degrees in agriculture
  • Proven hands-on experiences in building books of business in national capacity varying in deal sizes.
  • A great listener, we truly care about our customers and it’s important we have a clear understanding of their context and needs and how we can offer added value to them.
  • Self-starter with a first principle mindset to discover the unknown and unpredictable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; although not mandatory start-up experience highly desirable.
  • Experienced working with CRM systems.
  • Excellent presentation skills and confidence in presenting to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work both autonomously and with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented and a strong drive to meet or exceed sales targets.
