Regenified™ was founded in 2022 by the pioneers of regenerative agriculture. Our founders are known and recognized as the leading figures and guardians for regenerative agriculture and its journey to mainstream agriculture. Many great stories have been told including one showcased in the 2020 film Kiss the Ground. Regenified’s purpose is to protect the narrative around regenerative agriculture from greenwashing, while providing recognition and reward to the farmers and ranchers who successfully implement ecosystem-saving practices as part of their operations. Our mission is to transition the world’s supply chain to regenerative agriculture by offering the most reliable standards and verification services. To date, our standards have been approved by the USDA PVP program  and the largest grocery chains in the world as we actively verify large acres of farmland producing grains, beef, poultry, eggs and cotton. 

What You Will Do

The Grain Merchandiser will play a dual role in sourcing, merchandising, and moving regenerative grains through transparent and traceable supply chains. This position requires a deep understanding of both commodity trading and logistics to efficiently connect regenerative grain producers with processors, mills, and buyers.

This is an opportunity to help shape Regenified’s regenerative grain supply chain, ensuring traceability, quality, and mutually beneficial relationships.

Responsibilities

Merchandising & Procurement

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, grain elevators, processors, and buyers for a specific regenerative grain.

• Establish mutually beneficial pricing models that align with market demand.

• Execute grain origination strategies, negotiating contracts and invoicing with growers and end-users.

• Identify premium market opportunities for regenerative grains, securing deals with CPG brands, millers, and food manufacturers.

• Ensure compliance with regenerative certification standards in all transactions.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

• Oversee the transportation, storage, and delivery of regenerative grains, ensuring full traceability.

• Develop efficient logistics networks that minimize costs and carbon footprint to align with sustainability goals.

• Manage contracts, freight rates, and risk mitigation strategies to optimize grain movement.

• Work closely with supply chain partners to ensure on-time delivery, quality control, and cost-effectiveness.

Data, Analytics & Risk Management

• Track and analyze commodity pricing trends, helping inform pricing and contracting strategies.

• Monitor supply and demand dynamics for regenerative grains in domestic and international markets.

• Implement risk management strategies (hedging, storage planning, contract structuring) to protect margins and farmer relationships.

• Maintain real-time data on grain movement and quality, ensuring integrity in the Regenified supply chain.

Who You Are

Experience & Skills

• 5+ years in grain merchandising, procurement, logistics, or commodity trading.

• Strong network in grain origination and buyer relationships (processors, mills, CPG brands).

• Deep understanding of agricultural markets, supply chain logistics, and sustainability trends.

• Proven experience in contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and risk management.

• Experience in leveraging technology for supply chain transparency (ERP, blockchain). 

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with farmers, processors, and buyers.

• Knowledge of regenerative farming principles, sustainability certifications, and traceability requirements.
